I don't want to waste a can of Pepsi (and maybe it's a home remedy which is supposed to work but actually doesn't) but does it REALLY help clean the toilet and help get rid of smells?

Not really! the phosphoric acid in a can of Pepsi is not strong enought to remove rust stains and hard water stains and, since, the acid isn't that strong it doesn't remove the odors. Try Kaboom toilet bowl cleaner.Drink the Pepsi.

This theory was tested on MythBusters and was proven to be false.

Regardless of the brand of cola, it will not clean a toilet any better than actual toilet cleaner and actually leaves a sticky residue afterwards.

Sorry, it's false.

there's a product by using Lysol referred to as "Neutra Air" that works quite. maximum spray air deoderizers merely conceal up smells with plant existence or fruit or something like that, yet this one does not incredibly scent like something - it is composed of chemical compounds that kill despite the fact that is inflicting the scent. i've got used it for a lengthy time now and that's unquestionably dazzling how nicely it incredibly works. so as that is a reliable short-term answer for you in case you could not discover the source. i could additionally advise calling a plumber to word your lavatory to work out if s/he can decide the place the scent is coming from, considering you have appeared for it so hard and not got here across it. it incredibly is in all hazard no longer something severe, yet you never be attentive to - something inflicting a scent like that could desire to be something significant rotting, or maybe organic and organic fabric like a lifeless rodent caught someplace. it incredibly is disgusting, in spite of the undeniable fact that it does ensue. reliable good fortune!
