The devel made him do it

The only way Jesus could have known for sure that Judas would betray him, is if Judas had no freewill. The idea that god is all knowing, and he gave us freewill is a contradiction. Both cannot be true.
Take a calculator for example. If you input 2+2= into a calculator you know you're going to get 4 as the output, because you know how a calculator generates output. If you ask a person what is 2+2, they'll probably say 4, but you can't know that for certain unless you understand everything about how the person is generating output.
If you know everything about how the person is generating output, then the person is no different then a calculator. So if god knows everything about how you generate your output then you are just a really complex calculator, and you aren't really making choices at all.
Basically if you believe god is all knowing, then you have to believe in predetermination. If you believe you have freewill, then you can't believe god is all knowing. Both are contradictions to they typical christian definition of god, which is why I don't believe in that god.

I believe it is an act of free will, but happened within the God's sovereignity.

Some say that Judas is predetermined by God to betray Jesus, but for me I believe he did it because of his own choice. Maybe it is because he didn't build his faith on the Truth. He loved money, and he often stole money entrusted to him.

Jesus had known this from the very beginning and He had power to stop it, but He let it happen. Actually Judas' betrayal is a part of Satan's plan, but God used it to save men and destroy Satan.

judas didnt want to betray jesus in the 1st place. he thought that after he attracted the roman soldiers attention jesus would rise up and fight all war like(as that is the environment judas was raised, and what he thought the messiah was going to do) but he was wrong, instead jesus was passive and peaceful.
ANSWER--> ok if judas really did want to betray christ then it would have been an act of free will by judas, and jesus would jave known but would have let it happen

i'd say this act was predetermined. before the foundation was laid it was set that the Son of Man will be betrayed. even though in that nick of the moment Judas had a choice, he was compelled to betray. i presume, Judas died of guilt.

It was Judas' freewill, but Jesus knew it was coming.

God knows what we'll do before we do it, but He doesn't force our hand. It's always up to us to choose. It must be heartbreaking to watch someone you love doing the wrong thing, knowing that they'll do it, wishing they wouldn't...

"Do you betray the son of man with a kiss?"

I've seen movies portray Judas a bit differently. As though he didn't realize what was going to happen. He didn't realize that Jesus would be tortured & put to death. Evidence to support this theory is that Judas hanged himself after Jesus was arrested. He loved Jesus & felt guilty for betraying Him.

How do you know it happened at all?
Do you believe in free will? If so, Judas had as much free will as you do. Do you have free will?

BIBLE SAYS GOD HAS FOREKNOWLEDGE OF ALL THINGS. NOTHING PREDETERMINED..SINCE FREE WILL ALLOWS US TO MAKE THAT CHOICE....YES JESUS CHRIST KNEW JUDAS WOULD BETRAY HIM--YES JESUS KNEW HE CAME INTO THE WORLD TO DIE AND PAY OUR SIN DEBT...
NEVER THE LESS JUDAS MADE HIS OWN CHOICE-NOT A WISE ONE--YOU HAVE A CHOICE ALSO--OF YOUR OWN FREE WILL...
JERK CHRIST AROUND AND FOLLOW JUDAS...CHRIST ALREADY KNOWS THE ROAD YOU WILL TAKE---
FOREKNOWN--KNOWS ALL---
DO YOU KNOW WHICH ONE YOU WILL FOLLOW---JUDAS THE GOAT OR CHRST THE LAMB OF GOD?
