There is no relation between between familial cholesterol and sports . I mean if it is a genetic problem as seen in many patients with hyper cholesterol you can not lower it too much with sports or diets maybe .But this is not a rule . I mean you should try to results . First of all keep doing sports if you even can not lower your cholesterol levels cause sports maintain body younger and stronger .
I do bodybuilding .In my house I have weights up to 80 kgs and I have one 180 cms and one 125 cms bar for shoulder press squats and curls . Doing sports made my body faster and stronger . There is no need to lift heavy weights .Walking , jogging-like exercises are very good . I like running very much . And it increases Growth Hormone levels so his may lead a more replenished body , muscles and tendons . And it can improve your memory too . I hope you keep doing sports for the rest of your life . There is always a sport type suitable for all ages.

I play Rugby League.
Its a team sport so youve got 16 other players looking after you and youve got to look after your other 16 players.
All at the same time as dishing out the punishment to the opposition.
After the match its great as both teams keep issues on the pitch and have a right good drink together afterwards.

I play basketball because I have my whole life, and I find some small glory in the domination of an opponent. I run marathons and halfs so that people know I am crazy.

I don't play any organised sport now. However, I love playing it with my kids, brilliant.
I don't need to increase my heartbeat rate, as I support West Ham! 90 minutes watching them is quite a workout!
