Can you put a 2gb micro SD card into a Blackberry Pearl? And if so, how many songs could that hold? How bout a 1 gb?

Yes they can take a 2gb card.

Now as for how much music I think you can get about give or take 250 songs depending on the length and bit rate used when using a 1GB.

Yes it can.But first you must update your mobile phone's FIRMWARE before inserting a 1gb or 2gb.The use of the newer firmware is to make the phone read the MICRO SD card properly.Anyway 2GB can hold 250-500 songs depending on the format and the bitrate.Buy Sandisk or Kingston,Sandisk 2GB($70) is more expensive than kingston 1GB($10).

you can try Kingston, Pendrive or Scan Disk SD card. if you put higher memory it will reduce the reading speed in memory.2 G about 500-600 songs, 1 G about 250-300 MP3 Songs
