Any good? For the record, I think that they're basically harmless unless you're particularly impressionable. My roommate did a lot of pageants when she was in high school, and they don't seem to have done her any harm but make her dress well and take care of herself. I considered doing one just for shits and giggles in my junior year, but I ended up not doing so, only becuase of the entry fee.
