My husband is 48 and works in a very stressful environment. Is it true that once a person gets older, his sex drive will become lower or is it due to stressful working environment or both?

Most probably it is both. When a man gets older his sex drive slows down. However, stress is a sex drive killer.

I personally am 33, and until recently have enjoyed sex on daily basis. However, I moved in my career to a very stressful environment with very long hours at the office.

Now if I am lucky, I would have the energy for a once a week quickie. I am glad that my partner understands and is supportive. Otherwise, emotional stress would kill our relationship and ruin my life.

Well may not be true to everyone. I of this age still can do 3times per day. But not to my wife. I did it outside. My wife sex drive zero. So just a caution word, check out your husband, is he really working stress or have fun outside stress.

It's human nature for the sex drive in older men to decrease because the body slows down the production of testosterone, but if you stay consistent throughout your health, fitness, and nutrition you can sustain a healthy libido for life.

with age his hormones can wane and he will not be into sex as much , but that can be treated, the stress can be a huge factor too. so a doctor is a good idea all the way around.

Go to the doctor and get a prescription to increase testosterone level.....it will make the world of difference...in fact you might want to brace yourself...lol.
Andro-Gel is a great one....its an alcohol based lotion you just run on the skin each day.
good luck

Sexual drive in men will occur later in their years, but stress is the main reason for this action.try calming him down with a back rub,a warm bath, take him to dinner, etc.this might work.
GOOD LUCK

Both. Please look up information from a dr Nicolas Perricone...

Anyway, lol, testerone lowers in men as they age, and stress...helps lower testerone. It all goes hand-in-hand. Please advise him to start lowering his coffee/caffine intake, and increase his sleep, green tea, and water intake for starters.

For real, check out Dr. Perricone's books/information, etc. Very involved, but really good.
