Have you look at the card to see for sure it is a 512? I looked at mine and it was supposed to be a 512 and it was only a 128. I am still waiting for them to send me a 512.

THIS IS WHAT IS USED IN YOUR PHONE
Extend a device’s memory with Memory Stick PRO Duo™ (up to 4GB). Adaptors are available if you want to use in products compatible with standard-size Memory Stick PRO cards.

Go here so you can understand what a memory stick pro card is.

You need a USB reader for the stick. That way you can connect it to the computer. You would treat it like another drive. Then I would suggest you reformat the stick and see if it works.

Also, I have read, that one brand may work with your cell phone another may not. I had read where a major computer memory module manufacturer sells all the modules that do not meet their strict tests to other buyers. Some buyers stick their own label on them and sell them as if they had made the modules. When I found out about this I see what some modules are so cheap. I may be buying a rejected module. I ended up buying a brand name not the cheaper price. So too may you have a defective memory stick. But when you buy your stick, make sure to buy it from a place that has a money return policy. Some places like on the internet will only exchange the stick and not the money.

Anyway, try to reformat the stick. If that does not work then call the customer service of your phone company. I guess the 512 Mb stick came with your phone.

Remove all the items you have on the memory stick and format the memory stick card. It should work now.
