This guy has been staring at me for last year. This gut and me are in same class. Whenever he gets time, he stares at me. My friends say he is in love with me. Is he?? I am pretty much attracted to him. As i am Indian, here the parents take having a bf a serious problem. I have promised mom of not being involved in these type of matters. Friends say that he is going to propose me. What should I say?

Since you said class i think you mean highschool. I dont think he would propose to you! Your still young, after all he may not be the "one." Its fun to fall in and out of love until you get it right thats why being young is great. I say, say yes! Even if it doesnt work out it would still be a good memory:)

well first if u can tell this all to ur mother
secondly if u cant and if that guy proposes u (if u he loves u ask him to talk to ur parents thats the way it is in india and pakistan)
thirdly check it in ur family that would they allow u to marry or love a boy out of ur family if they dont just go tell the boy if he loves u that u cant be married

You have 2 problems
1.You like that guy
2.You swear to your mom.
Now if you really like that guy go and tell her about your promise to your mom, If he really likes you he will wait for you. Until you finish your studies or until you're ready for marriage.
But I don’t think you should be quiet. Then he’ll think you don’t like him.
And be careful because sometimes guys just stare at girls to just have some fun with that girl. Don’t let him know that you like her. Test him and then tell him. Friendship would be good for a start. And be careful because it’s possible that what I wrote may go all wrong. It’s up to you more than it is up to me or any other Yahoo! user

what your heart says i have been through high school and i am proud to say that i have rejected every single guy that has asked me. i am an indian too so i understand ur sentiment. u are young so why do wanna be tied down. don't say peer presure. that the reason why some of my classmates got pregnant while the were in school and i went to college, happy, dated got a proper bf and earn my degree. something can wait. but clearly it up too you.

if he's never said hi to you he's not going to propose....he likes you and maybe he shy so go talk to him and say hi im so and so..mayb we could hang out sometimes and get to know each other better
