what does the thumbs up and thumbs down mean on this site and how do I vote thumbs up or down for others?

Those are ratings, but you can't use them until you get to level two. Each thumbs up is worth 1 point if that answer is chosen as the best answer.

By the way, if you are new to answers, Polls & Surveys is the best category. It's where all of the fun people hang out. If you need a really serious answer, then you might want to go somewhere else, but if you are just bored, come to P&S...

You can't use the "thumbs up/down" feature until you reach level 2 or 3. At THAT time, if you choose to, you will click on the thumbs up or thumbs down feature next to a person's response. A thumbs up adds 1 point to their total points. A thumbs down just means you thought their answer sucked!

it means you agree with what someone else wrote as an answer-thumbs up
or disagree -thumbs down
you have to be on level 2 to use this feature
i saw that you starred your own question....hehe
you give people stars if you like the question that they asked. you can be on level one and use this feature
if someone choses your answer as best answer...you will get one point for everyone that gave you thumbs up on your response

just by left click on thumbs up if u like the answer or in the tumbs down if u dont like the answer

do this first. click the icon thumps up at the bottom right of my answer. U will automatically learn everything.pl.try at once.
