The plea was to straight people asking them to please support the GLBT community?

If they send a reply, most likely it will be pro-forma only. Contact Yahoo Legal Div. at Yahoo Corp. by phone / letter. Trust me:)

What was the question? Or at least, what was it concerning?

Additional: Well, unless you were asking in an inappropriate way, meaning that you were being really nasty about it, then I don't see the problem.

But Yahoo! will pull a question or answer for no good reason most times, just simply because someone has filed a complaint about it. And people will complain just because, which is rather stupid. And you can forget about Yahoo! telling you anything further, they never do, which is rather jerky of them.

The thing is I know it is frustrating, but we are on a free site that is governed by slightly ambigious rules. I feel certain some of the action/inaction by Yahoo is people who are regulating feeling a little bored and wanting to wind a few people up. Yahoo feel justified in not giving a reply as they feel you should be aware of community guidelines prior to posting an answer of question and should be aware of why your post was removed and they don't see the need to get into conversations justifying decisions.

Been there. They'll send you an automated answer, eventually. But it won't really apply.

I had a totally innocuous question deleted once, and the reason given bore no relation to anything in the question. I replied to their automated notification asking why it was deleted, they just sent an automated reply a day later.

Did you post it in the forum? Maybe it has a little more weight if the people there send it on, but I've been waiting over a month to get a reply for one of mine.

Yeah they're kinda on a roll tonight. I've been waiting hours for a question to appear and nothing.

Yet, the questions aimed at bashing us and that pervy one some pedo wrote still remain....

You can try the Forum - but you're unlikely to get a response from the "Click Here to reply" bit in the violation e-mail.

Nope, best you can hope for is to get your lost points restored and a computer generated form letter in reply.
