Well,it's a good thing to vote for candidates who agree with you on issues that are important to you.But having said that, one issue does not a candidate make. You should really look at that person's complete agenda, and find out where they stand on all the issues.

I'm a Democrat by inclination, but I have voted for Republicans in the past, and probably will in the future. If a candidate is more in agreement with me on more of the issues than not,I vote for that person, regardless of party.

No. Not saying pro-life or pro-choice should not be a consideration, just that voting for a president over a single issue is not a good thing. First, because he can't deliver on it, and second because there are so many other things he is doing that effect your life more than that one issue you thought was important.

No; I don't think that was a good reason for voting for him!

He's certainly not "pro-life" when it comes to the youngsters he's sending into Iraq. You DO know that the "war" was just "cooked up" in political back rooms, right?

AND, when he did commit troops, he sent them without proper armor! So, where's the "pro-life" in that?

And how about the poor people in this country who die everyday for lack of proper medical care? Or food, for that matter? Or prenatal counseling? Or AIDS?

How about the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who have died?

How about the people who died, or are as good as dead, because of Katrina? Where was all that love for mankind then??

No, you voted for someone who SAYS he cares about life, but proves just the opposite.

Next time, get the whole picture!

Bush is pro-innocent-as-yet-unborn-life. After that, you're cooked.

Yes, though, it is obviously a good reason for you. We all have ideas and ideals about which we are passionate. Unfortunately, a 2 party system means we are always taking an awful lot of bathwater with the baby.

to be honest there was no good reason to vote for Bush. Since he has been in power he has jeprodized his country further for not minding his own business, he cares more about his father and his fathers battle then about his own people, he went after saddam claiming he was going after Bin laden. You want to know the difference between Bush and Saddam? Bush will never get tried for his war crimes. I am not saying i am not happy Saddam is gone the world is a much better place, but don't go after him under false pretences pretending it is all for Americans when it is clearly for yourself. Why would he go after Bin laden? the oil industry is to booing to mess up relations with Bin ladens family. He sickens me and I iwll rejoice the day he is out. The worst part about it all is he did not even win fairly. He cheated his way in and everyone let him get away with it because of who his daddy is.

As for being PRO LIFE sweetie if he was truly PRO LIFE he would not be sending thousands of troops overseas to die because that is all that he is doing. And if he was PROLIFE the victims of hurricane Katrina would have had help when they needed it NOT a week later. Once again he had an excuse I did not know baout the thousands of people in the superdome BULLSH**. One more lie to add to his destructiveness. If he was PROLIFE he would be doing something about the health care situation NOT taking from it. If he was PROLIFE he would care about the thousands of people that can not aford medication or basic medical attention in his OWN country. If he was PROLIFE he would care about YOU! If he was PROLIFE EVERYONE in his own country would be able to afford to eat on a daily basis because he would do whatever it took to make sure people were not dying in his own country because they could not eat. The last time i checked America was NOT a third world country. he only cares about himself and his daddy. he does not care about lives born or not if it does not directly involve HIM. Sure he said that in his election speech because he wanted to hide all the persoanl agendas he had.
So to answer your question NO it was not a good reason to vote for him because you only took 1 thing he said and believed it, next time find the one that you MOST agree with not just one point!

I'm pro-life as well, but how can you vote on just the 1 issue.

As much as I care about the un-born, those already on planet Earth take precedence...at least for me.

The world is now a very dangerous and unstable place, in no small part, due to his policies.

No. There is proof that in 1971 Bush paid for an abortion for his then girlfriend Robin Lowman. Don't believe me? Put the names Bush and Robin Lowman in the search engine.

Not only that, but the fact that Bush has killed tens of thousand of Iraqis, including women who are pregnant and children. Bush only worries about what HE wants to do at the expense of the US. He is sending our country to the cr*pper and needs to be impeached!

It was not a good reason. Bush is not pro-life. He's ordering the killings of hundreds of thousands of people already and more if he has his way.

NO. Because he's not pro-life. He's caused the death of tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands of Iraqis, many of them innocents, over 3000 American troops, started a civil war in another country which could cause the death of hundreds of thousands of people.

He's diverted billions of US tax dollars from programs that could have relieved hunger in most of the world, provided health care here at home to those who could afford it, provide job training in poor areas, fed the hungry at home.

Now, in light of these facts (and they are facts) point out to me how GWB is pro-life? He can't even leave the people that are already alive in peace.
