How would I get sponsourship for a website in South Africa?

I have a favourite weather saterlight website in SOUTH AFRICA www.weatherphotos.co.za and the guy who runs it is begging for sponsorship. Now I love this site and think it is very informative, and I dont want it to close. How would I go about getting people or corporations in South Africa to sponsor it?

u can buy cheap domains in US& India... so u can buy a him a domain for may be $10-12/yr & he can keep the same webaddress.
The otehr option is he can use advertisement in his site.... whihc will pay for the site.
