One of the classic rock bands but not THE best. Maybe best rock band with a flute.
Its funny you mentioned abt Plant quoting abt Tull. When Tull recorded Aqualung, they actually shared the studio with Led Zep when Zep was making Vol 4. Ian Anderson of Tull got along well with Page but not with Plant. He had offended Plant when he said with his(Anderson's) words and Page's music, they would create something really special thus belittling Plant's lyrics.
Maybe the animosity rose from there.
