I am looking to switch from tmobile to cingular and want to know the unlock code.

Finally someone to give an answer to. lol I found this looking up the same question for someone else before. Something that is good to know. Have fun and bookmark the URLs. Hint - Store them in a notepad and name it Cell Phone. Now for me , then I just cut and paste URLs like for you from notepad to here. Have fun.

The default code for my Motorola was 12345

Please email me at Aircraft4363@yahoo.com and I will send the code. Please enter *#06# and include the numbers you see on the screen that is called your IMEI and it is used to generate the unlock code.

its usually 0000 to unlock all mobiles.
