Not only did they have more recalls, but they had more problems per 100 vehicles than Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, and Cadillac?

Sounds like the Japanese aren't as reliable as we think.

Actually, Chrysler, Ford and GM are quick to recall repeated problems. Nowadays with people going crazy over law suits, it is cheaper and easier to recall cars than get sued.

Honda's built in America are not American cars.Yes Honda,Mercedes Benz and other supposedly better than American cars have lots of recalls. So of them for some really serious problems. The problem being the public so brain washed by lies and TV commericals can not face the reality that there overrated junk. The only reason you do not here about the recalls like you do with American cars is because since they are built by foreign manufactures they do not have to apply to the same rules that we do.

Part of the problem is that Hondas are now made by American workers. That should tell you a lot. The level of build quality is going to take a dump when American workers start building them. Honda also has a tendency to recall vehicles for problems that may not even exist, just to cover themselves. My Odyssey has never been recalled, but some were, because Honda discovered that it was possible that a sensor under the front end was possibly sealed wrong, not because of a design flaw, but because some hung-over redneck didn't do it right. Honda does not go head to head with Toyota year after year for quality, resale value, reliability, and overall customer satisfaction because it builds crap. But since you are a jingoistic sheep that will buy anything the Big Three produce just because you think they're American, you're bound to parrot whatever your white trash NASCAR buddies tell you. Look under the hood of your "American" car. See how many parts are made outside U.S. borders. I'll bet you best answer that a third of the parts are made in Mexico, a third in China, and a third in Canada. It's only assembled here, and by the same hung-over rednecks that put my Honda together. That is what scares me.

Actually that shows me that Honda really cares and doesn't put up a fuss when there is something wrong. The big three in the USA will do anything to keep a problem off the recall list.

And BTW are American cars really American Cars? All my Hondas were built in the USA and my "domestics" were built in Canada. Give that some thought.

Not sure where you got your info, so I looked it up on Consumers reports, and it still looks like Honda is #2 in reliability just behind Toyota.
