Three reasons why I disagree...
1. Most of the trio's research ends up being done in the Restricted Section of the library before they find an answer...therefore, if they did have the internet, I doubt any of the information from the Restricted Section would be found on it, waiting for anyone good or evil to read it. So, the internet would most likely be a waste of their time as the plots unfold.
2. Imagine how much extra information they absorb while having to skim through all those books to find their answers. In all honesty, it probably makes them a bit smarter than the average muggle teenager. Granted we have speed and efficiency on our side, but look at all the information and knowledge we skip by being able to go directly to our answer. It's sort of like...a novel vs. cliff notes...which way really seems better?
3. The books clearly state..."electricity, internet, radars, etc, all go haywire around Hogwarts, there is simply too much magic in the air." So, Harry Potter having internet at Hogwarts isn't even a possibility, besides, it's only fair they should have to trade off SOMETHING for being able to do magic, right?

Hmm. I can't travel through time or transmutate or conjure items from thin air, but I can look up other people's opinions on topics wikity spwit. I don't actually believe there's anything stopping wizards from using computers in the Harry Potter universe, when they're away from Hogwarts.
Faster access to information does not necessarily make for better research. Given that the information in the Hogwarts library would almost certainly be prevented from showing up on the Internet, there's no amount of internet research that would allow you to find the secrets contained therein.
So, no, I wouldn't say that muggles are better than wizards because we have the Internet. I would say that muggles are better than wizards because we muggles are real and the wizards in the Harry Potter books are made up stories.
If that's not good enough for you, then muggles are better because I made sushi for dinner and chocolate chip cookies for dessert, and didn't need a wand to do it.

It depends. Maybe they have a magic wikipedia or a magic internet now because the movies take place in the late 1980's early 1990. Or at least the books do.

Haha that's an interesting theory.Wikipedia isn't always accurate though.
BUT just think about much easier their daily lives would be.The cooking, they pretty much wave a wand and much of it does itself. And they can have house elves(slave elves that do house work for you)!I would love to have a house elf.And I'd even treat it good.

in this case, yeah we have found something quicker but in general, their powers are great, they do things we cant even imagine doing. they fly, they fix broken bones, they can kill or help just by a movement of their wands...its a great and terrifying world at the same time!

i'd rahter be able to cast spells than have internet. and they can have internet, it just won't work in Hogwarts because all the magic in the school puts electonics on the frittz....it says it in the books.
