Black and white people are terms that are constructed by society its called race. Everyone has one--its a way to identify people. I do not like saying black or white because it is not politically correct. All people have brown skin in actuality--some are lighter than others and vice versa. I actually say this person or Caucasian or African-American or Carribean or whatever term best suits the person. Some people prefer to be referred to by their nationality/territorial origin.
I prefer my name and even people of color is not as offensive. It is bad because black in the dictionary usually means all these negative entities which is wrong. I understand what you are saying and this is why I wish all races would just blend into one so that we would not be so ignorant of our differences.
Let's not get it twisted lol although I have some different ancestry from you I am still a black person. That is my racial identification regardless of what I was mixed with. I recognize in society I am a black person and yes it does make a difference and matter. To me this is a good thing and it also has its detriments obviously! We all make up the HUMAN race first and foremost when people realize we are one instead of an "us", "they" and "them"--the world will be a better place!
Inequality is part of life of course and so are the constructions of race until people make an effort to change it. People say it doesn't matter but actually it does matter. You cannot change being a black person no matter how much you disagree with the terminology it is your essence in society whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you.

I would like to ask you a counter question if I may, why was it necessary to say, "I am a black person but I don't think." Is there supposed to be different expectations from different races. If so I wish somebody would kindly point out where they are written and who wrote them....
(and you claim not to think like that) maybe you should reevaluate yourself and your views before starting a topic you are obviously unprepared for

It depends on what their attitude is. I think is okay as long as you don't have any malice. It's the same as calling someone short or tall, fat or skinny. Some people do get offended. Some people say it to offend.
It's very hard to change these people attituded.
The best thing to do is live your life the way you please.

Dude I got a good laugh out of that, thanks. I "think" you mean why do people think in terms of black and white. We think that way because they are characteristics, just like tall & short, thin & fat, etc etc. Get over it.

please elaborate as what you are actually asking.
at this point your "question" does not not seem to reflect a complete thought, and thus I for one can not answer.
to do so I would only be speculating as to your inquiry.
