I'd stop robbing everyone. But then again, I don't want to solve poverty.

Seriously, I think you can run a clothes drive and offer free meal days - not soup kitchens but community events with big healthy meals and salads - like parties - say once a month through your school. Make sure everyone knows they are welcome. That way working families will not feel ashamed to come and eat. Make them community meals and have a cultural theme or something so people will want to attend. Don’t judge by appearances - a lot of poor people are from all races/ religions and have pride in themselves as workers. Also hold it in a public area – a free hotdog and community baseball game in the park etc, that way people will come. Put up posters all over and announce it on the radio for those who can’t read.
You can also try to make it fashionable to be community minded in your school - a lot of young people spend money on jewelry and phones and clothes they truly do not need- do a sort of Buddhist monk thing if you want to help pay for stuff. That way you can help poor kids in your school too who might feel ashamed that they don’t have the same clothes as other kids. As a kid on a personal level you can try not to judge by appearance and not demand new 'cool' clothes, CDs or a cell phone.
Also you can do a once a week for kids or something - give up lunch once a week and put the money aside for a classroom fund for books and materials for your local school.
You can do something for the elderly many of whom suffer on tiny fixed incomes.
Or you can have community events where you make a health fund - for free medical screenings and health outreach or immunizations. Or even a free medication fund like for antibiotics. Those are things that cost a lot.
organize your whole school into groups to patrol the neighborhood and prevent crime. Have a ‘kid community watch’ That alone could do great things. Make sure you work with the police on that.
Or organize a club to provide free babysitting to working parents. That would sure help a lot of people.
Remember that a lot of poor people are often hardworking and educated (yes even with college degrees and higher) they don’t need someone being condescending – the number one cause of bankruptcy in the USA is medical expenses.

I would build a huge building like a big hotel for poverty people in my city. Shelters obviously do not work, so I would have this building built with school included and medical services, and after these poverty people have cleaned themselves up, i will teach them to get back up on their feet.

you can take food to the needy, also you can give clothes, help to build homes, have things in your area to raise money, ex, car washes, etc. there are many things that you can for. Also if you have a big vacant building in your area set up a local soup kitchen and talk to the merchants in your area and see if they would donate food. Also you could afford classes in how to get jobs, make a budget, how to cook better meals for their families.
