i am living at poverty level (from $34,000/yr. last years taxes, to less than $1000 so far this year), lost custody of my children twice, and am homeless and depressed due to the local government violating my civil rights. anarchy, firm believer, don't help.
Dr. Dee, kc..., and juiced, you work for the government or what?
it all started in august of 2003, my daughter was the first person to be put on amber alert in idaho (in the Spokane, Wa paper for a few weeks, while in my ex-wife's custody (deemed incompetent, and unfit. charged with abuse and neglect) while i was living in Arizona. i left EVERYTHING in Az. maved to idaho, fought for my kids. i had full custody, her having supervised visitations only. she later used the system, slandered me, and commited perjury. all proven in court documentation. they refuse to release the file to me. now they say i owe them housands in child support. there is so much more that will not fit in a few short words...

Come on! You can't give us this kind of question without telling us how you got from there to here. Why did your income drop so heavily? How were your civil rights violated? For what reason did you lose custody?

My best advice, considering the total lack of facts, is that if you have been truly wronged, try and get the local news to do a story on you. If they have some sort of consumer department, like "Channel 7 on your side" or something like it, see if they can help you.

join the club i have struggled my entire adult life on 500 a month I'm disabled and cant work but because of my age i don't qualify for any other aid. i couldn't go to high school be cause it had stairs. i tried to get a job as a dispatcher and i was told they wouldn't hire me because they didn't want to be held responsible if i got hurt, or fell out of my wheel chair. i have talked to lawyer after lawyer and there is nothing that we can do but just sit back and take it. the poor keep getting poorer and the rich keep getting richer. and what really ticks me off, if you don't have any money you cant pay your bills, if you cant pay your bills your credit gets ruined. and to get a loan you need credit. most doctors offices check your credit, try to rent a place to live they check your credit some employers check your credit. you just cant win for loseing. i must be adopted because uncle sam has cut me out of his will.

**** happens. All the crap that is happening in Darfur, Iraq, Afghanistan...
So you can't fix everything, you can't always make 'em pay.
Best to cut your losses and move on. If you had a strong case somebody would step up to the plate.

You win by not letting them win. Move on with your life. Don't let them win by feeling defeated.
Survive. Thrive even.
