knowing the difference between the two is really important. But it really depends on what you want from the car.

Take a look at Flowmaster.com... you can See and Hear the products they offer and i think you'll like the "40series" although I'm not sure if it can be used on your Chevy.

I have a "Super 40 series on my 88 Silverado! and it sounds b-i-t-c-h-en! i feel the added power but i don't know the numbers...

I also added a Cold Air Intake i bought off EBay motors, it gave me a heck of alot more off-line power as well as when on the freeway.

I'd go this route first in case you find adding the Super or Turbo a Lil much for you, i am thinking of adding a 4 barll Carb to replace my current 2 barll and I'm gonna performance chip the engine too... Over all id say try these things before you go all out, you might be happy with what you can do without the Turbo or Super.

Best wishes though, good luck

I'd reccomend magnaflow, thats what i have on my cobalt ss. I have a header back exhaust and a magnaflow cat back. There arent any superchargers out for cobalts other than the SS Supercharged. Turbos are close to coming out, but not completey done yet, being that they are having issues with tuning. If you have any other questions, i highly reccomend checking out cobaltss.net.

Sound doesn't equal power. Before you even consider turbo you need to upgrade injectors fmanifolds not to mention the powertrain. You have alot to learn so do your research first and build your car the smart way.

1. 4 banger will never have that deep throaty sound, no substitute for CI or cylinders.

2.try american thunder flowmaster. you might have to fab the in/out pipes.

3.install a CAI, you might like the sound at WOT.
