Oh my yes. I was surfing the net and saw the icon on the toolbar, so went exploring. I answered my first question very sincerely, and experienced my first rejection anger a couple days later when the jerk who asked the Q picked someone else's answer for Best Answer, and I had the right answer, and first, too. I have been disappointed similarly many times since then, but it no longer stings as much. And I am no longer angry about that first rejection because I'm confident they'll never find the body.

Yeah. Some dud promoting a new age religious book asked what we thought happened after death. I spent 20 minutes putting a decent, well thought out answer together for it. He ended up deciding the best answer was some guy raving about a previous book he had written. I didn't log in again for 2 months.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on it but I just needed something more and there was Yahoo Answers. I was a little tentative at first just looking around but soon I had some experience and I was spending hours doing it.

Yup - I was checking out yahoo main page and saw this thing called Answers. Being one to always try something once (wink), I thought I would check it out.
Been hooked ever since.

Yeah, I do! I really thought it would hurt, and was worried that I wouldn't know how to do it right. But my partner was encouraging, and showed me what to do. It wasn't a very long 1st time experience . . . . but one I will never forget. Long live yahoo!
