I'm just looking for an estimate. Anyone out there who can tell me what they use up every week in oil gallons? Thanx.

For a typical New England winter, expect to use the entire annual oil export volume of Oklahoma, give or take 10 gallons.

Not sure, I'm on "Long Island", and I drained a 300 gallon tank last month in that deep freeze with the wind chill of -9*F, It's the wind that robs heat, snow will actually insulate the house, we just got blasted with a nor'easter that left this place looking like a glacier, no snow but, ton's of ice, so bad you needed Ice cleats to walk around outside, emergency rooms are full with broken bones from falling, I only fell once, and it was IN THE HOUSE, I didn't take my cleats off, they dug into the stairs and nearly killed me, I never fell so hard that I couldn't move for a few seconds from PAIN !

Sorry, that is not enough info for a real estimate. How well it is insulated, where it is in the building, and many other factors are involved. Like how efficient your heater is, various things like that. The weather that winter will effect it too, if you have a milder winter, it won't be as much as when it gets to 40 below.
