Some believed it was German subs that sank the Titanic. Germans had well technology and had already had submarines in their navy. Some believed that a German Sub fired at Titanic and caused it to sink.
Another is a coal fire that happened and caused the bulks to weaken. Also caused to put more coal in the steam engine thus causing it to speed up.
Another is that Olympic really sank and not Titanic. Some believed that Titanic and Olympic switched names before the voyage.

The Germans did later do the Schwieger Plan and sunk ships without warning during World War I that came 2 years after the sinking of Titanic

Some believed that when Titanic was near the ice burg, German subs fired. Some on the boat said they saw lights aroudn the time, but was later said it was SS Californian that was near by

Another unlikely conspiracy theory. WWI wouldn't start for another few years, so why would the Kaiser's navy want to do that?
Consider the fact that once the war started, Germany was so eager to keep the US out of it that when the US took the absurd stance of objecting to the German naval blockade of Britain, without objecting to the British mining of the North Sea which was keeping food from coming into Germany (rendering something like the Lusitania incident an exercise in tit for tat), the Germans initially, in war time, gave in.
There were Americans onboard that ship and the Germans would have to have expected a hostile US response. The US, in that era, was already a major naval power, and Germany was already a net food importer, so such a war would not have been promising them good things.
This one runs smack into Occam's razor. Given the abudance of icebergs in the North Atlantic, the official story is plausible and the conspiracy theory raises far more questions than it answers, as conspiracy theories tend to.

There are a few theories on why she sank . one is that the coal fire weakened the steal . now i know that it is not one thing but a chain lets start at the reports of ice in the area, now ice warnings go before the bridge and the officers will plot a coarse around it. now the co owner of titanic was ismay he put pressure on the captine (e j smith) to get to new york by wednesday so to keep the boss happy we speed up. now on the night of april 14 the water was calm, and the moon was not visable. the lookouts had no binoculers . when the ice was near they called to the bridge to report it. the officer on duty was murdock he stopped and revearsed the engines and that alone doomed the ship. when in water the faster you are going the faster you can turn. when the ice impacted with the hull it was comprimised. it was only because the steel was 1 inch thick total. the double bottom hull would need to be at least 2 to 2.5 inches thick. so now within an hour six compartments were filled and most of the boats were launched. when the ship carpathia arivedin new york two inquires were launched in the us and britten. ismay was exonerated and so was our captin of any faults.

An iceberg. They have found the Titanic and searched it's hull finding the gashes from berg! There were no signs of any torpedoes or anything else.
It never ceases to amaze me why some people persist in trying to foul-up history to suit their own needs!

Maybe the Titanic never existed and it was all done on a sound stage like the 1969 moon landing.
Or maybe the government secretly blew up the Titanic and after they flew remote-controlled passenger jets into it and are keeping the damaged hull at Area 51.

It was sunk by George W. Bush and Elvis. They did it from Al Gore's pollution free airplane that was flown by JFK and Marilyn Monroe.
Where did you get these "theories"? WHo, specifically believes anything besides the iceberg tore the hull open?

the technology to fire or cast steel plates of the size needed to build Titanic wasnt developed enough when she was built...her sides and bottom were brittle when cold....she grazed the iceburg and her plates ruptured....stupid people shouldnt build stuff
