If someones mobile has been cut off how would you know when you phoned them?

I've been phoning my friend, she only has a mobile and it doesn't ring I can't remember what phrase comes up, but I suspect she's beeen cut off.

Some service providers give the facility wherein u will be notified through a message about who called u up when ur phone is cut off, when u are in the network coverage etc.,

some of the service providers charge, some dont.

If the phone is disconnected due to not paying the bill or dropping the service then when you call you will get a recording stating about the phone not being in service or something like that.

Now if she has the cell phone turned off or the battery is dead then if you call her it will go straight to the voice answering service and not ring. You will either get her automated cell phone answering service reply or a personal phone message reply.
