I was under the impression that girls stop growing once their cycle regulates. My friend seems to think that they continue to grow (in height) up to a certain age. Does anyone know the answer?

I am still not regular and I am 28 years old now, but I did grow an extra inch between the ages of 20-23, weird, huh?

All I can go by is what my daughter did. She started her period very early, 10-1/2. She was about 5'2" or 5'3" at the time. Her periods came faithfully every month and she continued to grow until she was 14 or 15 and is now 5'10".

I continued to grow until approximately 18 years of age. I don't think it has anything to do with the monthly cycle.
