how can i change my default player for internet explorer?

Right click on your music file and select, "Open With".
Click on "Choose Programme...".
Select "Internet Explorer" from the list.
Below this list of options, you will see a check box that says, "Always use this program to open these files". Put a check in it.
Click "OK".
After this exercise, when ever you open any movie file, it would open with IE.

you mean when you're trying to ooen a video file and you want to change the default player on which you want to play the file? if that's it then:

1. Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, click More Options, and then click the File Types tab.
2. Select the check boxes of the file types for which you want the Player to be the default player.

NOTE:

Other multimedia playback programs on your computer may interfere with your Player file types settings or prevent you from specifying the Player as the default player for a selected file type. To override the file types settings and specify Windows Media Player as the default player for all of the file types in the list, use the Set Program Access and Defaults feature in Windows. To do so, click "Start", point to "All Programs", click "Set Program Access and Defaults", and then choose the "Custom" configuration that specifies Windows Media Player as the default media player.

Hi.
Go Start->Settings->control panel->add remove programms->Set programm access and Defaults(on the left side) and choose the default programm you need for media files.

click on tools youll find it in the right upper hand of your screen go to internet options. when it pops up it will show you what ur defualt is just type in what you want it to be and then click apply and then ok!
