Same sex attraction is a 'statistical fact' that can actually 'appear' any time between birth and death ... generally, only 10% of people are ONLY and ALWAYS attracted to people of the 'opposite sex', 10% of people are ONLY and ALWAY attracted to people of the 'same sex' and 80% of people are 'occasionally' attracted to either males or females and could be considered 'bi-sexual' ... but as I said, this is only a 'statistical fact' and takes in 'sexual fantasies' and 'childhood experimentation' as well as 'watching other people having sex and getting aroused by it', dreaming about it ... etc.

I think that is very possible. A woman could be with men her whole life, and then out of the blue feel an attraction to women, and realize that she's bi the same way some women doen't realize that they are gay until later in life. Sexuality is a hard thing to pinpoint. And Discovering what your sexuality is happens at different stages in life for each person. I also believe that a straight person can fall in love with a women without being gay. Love is love no matter who you fall in love with.

The feelings (same sex attraction) are there just muted by societal pressures. I knew I had no real desire for men but got married anyway cause I didn't understand my real feelings. I was 27 when I met a woman who 'rocked my boat.' I finally realized why i was so uncomfotable with guys while growing up.

Happened to me. I just came to realize what I've been harboring all along. Looking back I can see the signs that I'm gay. One is that back in the day, in 5th grade, I remember not being able to look at my teacher with out looking at her chest. Another is that I was always too shy to talk to other girls in class because I never knew what to say and it felt too much like asking them out when I invited them to do something. I found myself able to get along with the guys more than the girls. My ex husband hated the fact that his friends even told him I was one of the guys more than he was at times and how I got along better with them than their girlfriends.
Later, I think I had more fun tormenting him with my sexuality while we were still married once he found out by pointing out hot girls and how 'I'd hit that'. But honestly, I'm a bit both. I like men and women, but in different ways, which is really peculiar. With men, I prefer to be the dominant figure in the bedroom while with females, I tend to be the submissive person in the bedroom. At the same time, in the public eye, with the male I am the equal and with the female I am the dominant. I'm so messed up, lol!
But I'm sure you catch my drift.

No, everybody at sometime or another has fantasies. It is a choice on how to act about them and in this society it is so encouraged that people are constatnly thinking about it so it doesn't go away. To answer your question, yes I do think that a woman can find herself attracted to another, but if she doesn't keep focusing on it then usually the urge will go away.

Gays tend to know they’re gay at a young age, but bisexual feelings can become apparent when the person is older.
