After the "gag" at the Academy Awards tonight with Leonardo DiCaprio, do you think Al Gore is planning a potential presidential run? Could the stunt have been intended to elicit a reaction from the people? Since he was right on global warming, right about the internet, right about "Bush-enomics", and right about the Iraq war from the beginning, why would you not vote for him? Would you be more compelled to vote in '08 if Gore was running on the Democratic ticket?

I think this is Al Gores presidency if he wants it.
After all... he won the popular vote in 2000. I think he became discouraged after such a scandalous voting fiasco but I also think he needs to come forward now if he wants it. He looks and acts more like a president than any of our other contenders out there.
Maybe he is just waiting for the prime moment to announce his candidacy. After Hillary and Obama finish making fools out of themselves. The longer he waits the less chance he has of getting involved in all the mudslinging.

Al Gore is going to be the new spokesperson for TrimSpa.

Geologic time and global climate changes occur a bit slower than a handful of years (shocking revelation, eh?). Al has not been right about too much, but he has certainly been enjoying his snacks since his stint as waterboy for Billy.

Fools love company and revel in that pack mentality.

I hope he does run. That would gurantee a Republican win. Check the facts, for each scientist that says global warming is real, a thousand say it is normal cyclic weather patterns. Al Gore is the biggest hypocrit there is, wanting to ban combustion engines for everone except him as he jet-sets around the world burning 10,000 gallons of jet fuel each way.

Thank God for gloabl warming, otherwise we'd be living under 30 feet of ice. Ask the citrus growers of CA what they think of global warming. By the way, Al Gore did not invent the internet. He is just a dillusional clown who does not know reality from fiction.

I was just watching the news showing big AL at one of the Oscar after parties. He stated that he has no plans to run for public office again. Of course he is a politician so I guess he could always claim he "mis-spoke" on national TV.

I would definitely feel compelled to vote in '08 if Gore was on the ticket. Just the thought of Gore as President would scare me right to the voting booth.

He is not right on about global warning. The glaciers in the polar ice cap are actually larger than they were in the 1940's. Gore couldn't win with Cigar Billy paving the way, he sure as hell isn't winning afater the joke award he recieved toinght.....McCain and Rudy win in a landslide.

You mean besides the fact that the Gore campain in 2000, sent fliers out to their state campain managers, telling them how to challenge the Absentee Votes of members of the Military.

Why would anyone want to vote for someone for president, when that person thinks its ok to prevent military votes from being counted ?

MY intuition sends shivers to all my extremities when I see Gore on the tv. I dont think I am alone. He creeps too many people out, but then again he did invent the internet.

I hope he runs. I would not only vote for him, I would volunteer to work for his campaign and help in any way I could.

Please run him, put him and Hillary on the same ticket. You would win 3 states.
