sharon, schools are not liberal! have you been to one in the last 30 years? And to correct you YES the US movement West DID resulted in the loss of autonomy for native americans. READ A HISTORY BOOK!

d is true but wasnt a reason for the expansion...it was a by product.....the big cattle empires didnt develop until the late 1860's when the railroads were built to ship the damn things to Chicago ....but generally a is correct
