I think we eventually will, given the fact that the Bible isn't used as a standard anymore, so eventually people will accept multiple types of marriages such as polygamy. The main problem now is that some of the largest polygamist communities (Colorado City, Bountiful BC) are mainly living off of welfare and there is tons of abuse that goes on.

Ok, other than what the Bible says? ok, I will answer that without using the Bible.
Ok, if you open that door, than you will have to open all the doors, you just can't stop there, let me give you some examples, ok, say you say ok to Polygamy, why stop there? why not marriage to 2 men to 4 women? or 4 men to 5 women, or 1 women to 5 men, or visa versa?
not enough, how about bestiality marriage? (hey, don't laugh, a women in Australia just married a Dolphin) and for an important note, are we ready to raise our taxes to pay for the building of all the courthouses needed and judges to handle all the probate cases that will be very complicated from all the failed plural marriages that will result in all this? I will never vote for that, I will never support a tax increase to pay for all that nonsense.

You need a narrower definition of "support".
There is no reason for there to be any law prohibiting polygamy, if that's what you mean.

All I can think of is that it's not currently possible given the structure of marriage law. If it can be completely rehauled, I don't have an issue with it.

I would not want to share my husband. I also would not appreciate being shared without my permission. To me, it is a form of cheating, which is totally unacceptable in a committed relationship.
