I would recommend the PS3, because it has bluetooth, Internet, even though a computer has Internet, blue-ray technology, 2 versions, 20GB or 60GB, and excellent graphics. Do you remember when the PS1 came out? It was soooo cool! That was a while ago. The PS3 is out now. In a while from now, there's going to be something 50 times better than the PS3. Why waste your money on ANY game system now when you can get something 50 times cooler in the future? If you really need a game system, I would either say the PS3 or Xbox 360. Those are the best, for now. The Wii is only for people who never played videogames before. With the PS3, in a racing game, you can just make motions with the controller, instead of pushing the button, and the game will do them. It's just like the Wii, but the PS3 is A LOT more fun than the Wii, but I think that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are very similar.

Price wise: Wii comes in first, second is the 360.
Game wise ( which is the hard part!) : I would say the Wii as well since it provides you with a new style of gameplay. If you don't trust moving around with the Wii-mote I would get the 360 instead since the PS3 has not that many games which impress. ( But I'm not saying the PS3 is bad)
For the Multiplayer, the 360 is already the best 'cause of X-box Live and the PS3 would rank the second because the Wii's "friend code " system still stinks.........very badly.
Graphics wise: The obvious choice would be the PS3 since it is the most powerful of all systems and second would be the 360.
I would say that you should get the Wii if you'd want a new style of gameplay and if you're tight on cash. If you love multiplayer then you should get the 360. And if you want super "OMFG I can't believe it!" type of graphics then get the PS3 ( Considering you have an HDTV though ).

The PS3 is ridiculously expensive and I have heard that it's not as good as everybody expected it to be. I have a wii and I love it. It comes with the wii sports and its only $250, can't beat the price. It's fun, unique, and it has some really fun games already. The best game on the wii so far is Zelda so if you do get a wii, make sure you get Zelda.

Price wise is with a Wii but game wise I'd say go with the 360 until the PS3 retail price declines.
