From what I saw as a soldier there, the Serbs were top dog for so long and did so much to oppress the Albanians, that they are afraid to hand over power to them for fear of retribution. Imagine if the south had been turned over to former slaves back in the 1860's. White people would have had a hard time with that. Plus, nobody wants to give up a position of superiority. The Serbs had a society where they got the best of everything and they don't want to share. This is true in any society where one group has privileges the others dont.

Because it is serbian land and not albanian. Albanians, as they name say, come from Albania and should stay there. Serbs are not asking a part of albanian land. Free Kosovo, what that means? Free for Albanians and prison for all others, not just Serbs. C'mon, you Albanians, in lack of Serbs or others, kill your own people when you demonstrate. LOL. Lack of basic culture and common sense, as your photo represents quite good.

Mostly because they would lose that entire territory to Albania. Granted, Albania has never been much of a threat to world peace, but you do have to understand that Serbs have already lost control of Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia, so they're not much in a mood to argue.

Why would Serbia be willing to give up Kosovo.When Yogoslavia broke up into various states.It was never ever envisaged that Kosovo was'nt part of Serbia.Just because the people speak albanian does'nt mean they are'nt part of Serbia.People who migrate to a different country for whatever reason,can't just usurp the territory and claim it as thier own.Kosovo was always part of Serbia.Nothing has changed to alter this

They invaded Kosovo is the midnineties to keep it and there was a genocide there. When the UN made a resolution for the end of the war there the Serbians got exactly what they wanted and don't want to lose the land they killed thousands and thousands for.
