That is really sickening to me. Shampoo and Conditioners liek Pantene, TRESemme and herbal essences test on animals. Also Johnson and Johnson (Thats Johnsons baby, clean and pure, etc) and Loreal, maybelline, rimmel and LOTS of other makeup companies. AND the window cleaner WINDEX (dont even wanna know how they test on their animals) Tests on Animals. Colgate and Palmolive do as well. AND all procter and gamble companies do. Sally Hanson and soft soap do and suprisingly UNILEVER brands do as well which is: continental, lipton tea and dove.
Olay also do.
That was just to name a small percentage.
How many of you have these brands in your home? Were you surprised? Will You stop using them? If, why would you still use them? Are you against or for Animal testing. Go onto

Well if you didnt know yet, we are not Animals. Well not the Animals they test on. As i HOPE you know Animals have different bodies to us, different reactions to different DRUGS(hate em) so scientists (hate em to) are onyl learning what the drug does to the animal not what it does to 'help' the human.

Much as I like dogs, I want them to find out that that new trendy mascara causes blindness by testing on dogs rather than testing on people.

social activism is terrific and it's important to be completely informed before you make these sorts of decisions. if you decide to buy products that are not tested on animals, i would assume you've done your homework and developed a sound position so that when someone questions you about this, you can respond intelligently.

that said, most products have at some point been tested on animals. it's a stage in development that is almost never bypassed. even if a label says not tested on animals, that doesn't mean that the ingredients in that product were never tested on animals, either by the seller/producer or some other company in the past.

yes and its disgusting. Testing products like this have no bearing on how it effects humans since we are totaly different. They don't even require to test on animals since they have other ways of testing products that are less expensive like skin cells.

I try my best not to buy products tested on animals but its impossible to find stuff thats not made by those like 3 same companies that own everything. Their is some instances that i think maybe its ok...but i find it very hard to believe they have no alternative sources. I think its even worse the way they are treated and how they test military weapons on them. A lot of it is totaly pointless as well. It really scares me that someone could do that...it just makes me wonder what else they could do. A lot of it is gouvernments laws which is even crazier considering their IS BETTER WAYS!.

there is never an excuse for cruelty to animals, they have been testing in labs all over the world for years, most people are happy to turn a blind eye, if they allowed themselves to see it they would have to care and then do some thing, we must speak for animals, they cant speak for themselves

They also test drugs on animals too. If you or anybody needs to take medicine you would not be so self rightous about animal testing.
You have to test on animals. It's too bad but they are not doing it with pleasure or getting their kicks doing it. They are just doing what needs to be done for the safety of PEOPLE.
