my husband and I thought we could make more money by charging 25$ front and back to get are business started well it was a bad idea because you have to include the time it takes you and the gas you use driving to the ppls houses so first id look at the yard if its a small front yard I say 10 to 15 $ med yard 20 to 30$ larger yard 30 to 40$ are you doing the edging and weed waking if so Id include that in the price don't rip ppl off keep an average price per yard and stick to it make them think there getting a deal like including the trimming and what not some ppl will want there yard bagged if so add a couple bucks for the time and others wont want grass clippings in there trash so if not make them pay to have it dumped and the gas it takes to do so but what it really comes down to is time and what your willing to do I hope iv helped some

Average size goes for $20. Make it look nice and mow on the diagonal.

Find out what the going rate is for mowing a yard you are talking about. Then go below that price.

Howdy.
I would check out what others charge in your area. You can underbid them ... but you don't want to sell yourself short.
It also depends if you are talking about a one time job or mowing someones lawn on regular basis. I was paying someone $65 a month to mow my lawn once a week. If I wanted him to do just one time it would be $25.

I think you should charge at least 15 dollars an average sized yard. At least that is what I would charge.

Depends where you are. Try to find out what others charge. Other than that you should charge to get as much money as possible, so charge as high as possible without feeling guilty or losing the job.
