What age gap??? There is no age gap. You're not exactly pulling a "Michael Jackson" so I think 19 and 22 is ok : )

When it comes to friends,....age shouldn't matter. After all, you like that person because of who they are, not because of their age. I am several years older than one of my friends, and she likes me very much.....and we get along together real good.
At Christmas time, she gave me a present, and on the name tag, she wrote, "to my life long friend." Friends are hard to find, but when you do find one, don't worry about the age gap.

Considering one of my best friend is 21 and I'm 17, I should hope not. In fact, most of my mothers friedn were all twenty years older than she was. Age doesn't matter as much, the older you get.

nope! whether its the female whose 22 or not, it dont matter. My husband and I are 12yrs. different in age. Hes older though. I wanted someone who was ready to settle down, and was tired of the "games" in relationships.

Absolutely not; therefore, I would declare that it is alright. You shouldn't worry about anything, if there is no problematic situation that occurs.
