You seriously had me getting wild there for a moment... I had visions of Bootsy Collins, Stanley Clarke, and Victor Wooten all in shock. I'm glad to know you have the force with you and know of the higher power of Bass funk.
By the way... Anthony Wellington would so smack you for this question... With his 6 string bass...
Groove on...

I would have to disagree!!! Bassists are so talented. I play the guitar, and though it has six strings (tough to handle, I know...lol) A bassist is basically holding the song together! Since I see you have corrected yourself with the aftercomment...you're cool. :)

Y'know, there are 6 and even 7 string basses. So your first assumption is wrong. I'm a bass player so I do take offense to this question. Although I must pass along this amuzing anecdote. Once I locked my keys in my car. I was freaking out cuz I had my bass in the back seat. yeah, it finally took me 2 hours to get my bass, oh and our drummer was in the pasenger seat.

What's your basis for such a statement about bassists?
By the way...that Randy Jackson from American Idol is a bassist...and we know he can rock...
anything that he steps on.
