You committed fraud against the State of Missouri. You are looking at a large fine and possible prison term.

It will do you a great amount of good to be proactive and call to report the "error" and pay back what you, in essence, stole.

Didn't it occur to you at the time that it would be illegal to do that? [Of course it did, you were trying to scam the state!] In any event, turn yourself in and confess your "mistake" before they arrest you! If you're lucky, you'll only be out some money and not lose your freedom to a jail cell! Good luck!

Against the law. You need to contact them and pay it back before you file you income tax. Of course if you're an illegal as*hole then you have no worries.

Inform the Welfare Office that you are already working because you can be charged of fraud under the law.
