we shouldn't still love someone who doesn't love us, as it hurts us emotionally. we often think we knew the other person and that we would be with them forever, but sometimes stuff just happens, people are selfish by nature, and don't think what it does to the other person. u may still be expecting her to come back and this is why you haven't been able to move on. get some therapy stop blaming yourself for it. had nothing to do with u. stop seeing your life as u thought it would be, and make it be something else. we have no control over what others do, so why let these people steal our joy and our future. have u tried prayer at all? most of our emotional problems are caused by us failing to accept the truth.

When you say 'gone', do you mean gone as in 'dead' or gone as in 'left you'?
Well, if it is the former, then yes, it is ok for you to remember her and go nuts about your fate but if it's the latter, then you need to move on and find someone else who can understand and be with you.

Do you miss her or do you miss that hole in your life being filled?
Get out there and meet someone new. Life is too short for regrets. Make sure you treat the next lady right and hopefully she will do the same.
Good luck.

Hey Danny,
My wife left me too, so I bought me a sports car and "I ride"!
Everytime I think about her, I put the pedal to the metal!
Last week a police chased me for almost thirty minutes before I pulled over. When he approached my window, boy was he angry. He said if I could give him one good reason why he shouldn't lock me up and throw away the key, he'd let me go.
Well ......... I told him that my wife had left me for a policeman and I thought he was trying to bring her back.

I thinks its nuts not to miss someone who you thought you'd grow old with. Its human, and if anyone doesn't have them feelings, are people you don't want to grow old with.
