Minorites are here saying we are all the same race. I'm still here saying no we aren't, and I don't believe that we are, and also that would kill our uniqueness. Every race has their own unique characateristics. To say we are all the same race, like we are have the same flaws and strengths is wrong. You cannot compare a more successful race with another. That isn't fair, but obviously it will look good for those below to compare themselves or to say they are equal or the same with those above them. National powerwise, or physical characteristics and beauty. I think we aren't the same. We are humans, but when they refer everyone as the same, they mean more than just the human race.

The term "race" was derived by the Anglo scientists of the 18th century as a way to create a social construct or, classify cultures in order to determine that one "race" was better than the other. I.E. The British were better than everyone in the colonies that they owned around the world. For the most part it was a control mechanism. Since then science and society has come to understand that there is no such thing as race, rather we can be defined by our culture. We all come from different backgrounds and cultures and though you may not think that we should not treat everyone as equal we should treat the equitably. The fact that you phrase the question as "why is it that minorities" leads one to believe that you feel superior to others, further more you state, "you cannot compare a more successful race with another." What exactly are your terms for success? In America it would be determined by material positions and money. However in another country success may be defined in the respect one has earned from those around them, or by the fact that they have been able to share their heritage with their children. I hope you see what I am getting at, "race" was designed as a social construct and the terms used to define races are varied and arbitrary, it is not a matter of "race" but rather a matter of culture and in this there are no "better" or "worse".

There is one human race. Why, do you know of another one?

Your question is too wordy to read the whole thing, but if you know anything about anything you know there is only one human race; and for the past 35 thousand years there has been only one human race.

I fall under the category of caucasian,BUT I'm not the same as all caucasians. For example, I'm Greek and I don't look the same as most Irish people. I find the classification system kind of silly.
