Everything Patrick said plus 2 sub-zero sleeping bags.warm clothes and gloves, and a working knowledge of outdoor living. And an axe or hatchet would be useful did he say a pot or two ? Try eating a couple of the MRE's before you go just to make sure they are to your liking and agree with you. I am not used to eating highly processed food and they have not agreed with my digestion before. Did he say toilet paper?

ruc sack (back pack), a tent, a partner, 28 mre's (meal ready to eat) trail mix 4 pairs socks two pairs of boots fire starting kit, a pot (for water purifying) purifying capsules or a kit, three cantenes an entrenching tool (collapsable shovel) and possibly a gun. That is the field stripped version. Between two of you it wouldn't be that heavy but you would have to have a base camp for the food cuz 28 mres even for two is heavy and takes up lots of space. Oh emergency GPS and a flare gun. You might want more but that is the bare essentials and what you would NEED to survive. I wouldn't let mother nature provide nothing (well I wouldn't leave it to chance that she would cuz she is a cruel unforgiving BIACH!!)
