While she is an outstanding actress (one of the best I've ever seen), I have noticed that many of her roles are very similar. An ailing woman on the brink of death and/or has an oppressive mother. Not that either of those detract from her talent.

"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"
She played a more "carefree" role. I just bought that movie and think its probably one of my favorites. Have you seen it? Jim and Kate break their "typecast molds" and are both in very different roles.....different from what they are usually in. It is very artistic and creative. A must see!
