I did that once when I was in my teens, I would never do it again.

I think you have matured and figured out that you need to be true to yourself. Good Job! If you try to change to be someone you aren't, that person will love the wrong person. You really want to be loved for yourself, not for someone you aren't.

Absolutely not! If someone I am dating cannot see past the physical part of me, then I have no purpose in seeing them. There is more to me than what is on the outside. There is more to everyone than that. If that person is only interested in what they can see rather than what they can find out by getting to know me, then really, I don't want anything to do with them. It would upset me even if someone asked me to do that.

Besides, in the end, we all get gray, we all get old, we all get wrinkles, and everything sags a bit. It is then that we remember love should be beyond the physical.

Depends on the change. If my husband wanted me to try a new hair color or different style of clothes I would at least try it. But nothing drastic like plastic surgery.

I did that once for my second husband...
I lost weight, bought new clothes, moved to a new apartment, colored my hair and spent money on him by paying bills and buying him clothes...
He turned around and left me and divorced me...
I will never stoop so low again...

If I didn't have a strong opinion about what they wanted changed, I'd probably give it a try. If they were my g/f they already accepted me as I was so it's not about acceptance. I'm happy to make them happy.

How drastic the change? I MIGHT wear my hair a bit different, but nothing like painful or surgery!

=)

No because unconditional love means take the person as they are and love them for who they are and not how they look...and someone won't find someone else because you can do better!

My boyfriend's have thought I looked hot. So that's partially why they went out with me, 'cause I look good. (Along with some other qualities.)
