American stuff made in, say, Detroit must be marked for export as Made in USA, not Detroit.
Likewise, anything made in Usa has to be marked Made in Japan.

I have heard that after WWII, that American people would not buy products made in Japan, so, the Japanese renamed one of their industrial cities USA, so they could label products "Made In USA" I don't know if it is true or not, just what I heard.
