can anyone help me with this i want to write a movie or tv soap opera script about my life from age 10 to now(25) but i don't want my family to know until after i win an award for it that way i can say well i won a big award for that so don't complain... any ideas on how to do this without family finding out?? anything you guys can give me will help thanks....

I would just keep it on the down low for as long as you can. They don't have to know what you're working on, that's private and your business only. As for after it's written and you start shopping it around, you still don't have to tell your family what the script is about. But keep in mind: Even if they find out, who cares if they complain? I understand that it may make your life more difficult, but that's one of the risks. and this business is all about risks. Don't wait for an award to be validated. Own your vision. If you don't believe in it 100% and stand behind it come hell or high water, who will? Best of luck to you.

yeah write your material..and don't tell anyone..problem solved. Of course if you use their names and/or likeness in your source material without their permission you have opened yourself to potential lawsuits by your family members..woo hoo..rock on..and have fun!
