Which Green Lantern?

Because Batman punched out Guy Gardner once before (Green Lantern 3 of Earth).

Each hero has their own strengths and weaknesses, and multiple versions of themselves, making this a very loaded question.

It has been said many times in comics, that the Green Lantern ring is the most powerful weapon in the Universe, and the only limitation on it is the will power of the wielder and the charge it holds. It can, among other things, create many constructs and protect the wielder from mortal harm. It cannot be used to take a life, but can be used to stop someone from hurting others. A little known power, that is not used often allows the ring to give off different radiation frequencies, such as allowing the ring to produce the same effects on Superman as Green or other colored Kryptonite.

Here are our Players, just going by those that can currently be found in the Mainstream DC Comics universe:

Superman:
Superman of the Current Universe – Normal Superman Powers, including strength, flight, near invulnerability (kryptonite and magic), vision powers and healing factor, all while under a yellow sun. Superman is a solar battery, so if he runs out of power, he needs to recharge, or he is venerable.

Superman of Earth-2 – The golden age Superman, he might be stronger because he has stronger convictions than the main stream Superman.

Superboy of Earth Prime – Took 2 Superman to beat, and a large chunk of the Green Lantern Corps to watch over him now.

Batman:
Only one man, but he has Kryptonite, and knows a lot about the Corps. He knows their limitations, and knows their weaknesses. As mentioned above, he did punch out a Green Lantern before, and he is not particularly fond of Hal Jordan.

Earth Green Lanterns:
Out of the more than 7200 Green Lanterns of the Green Lantern Corps, there are 5 Green Lanterns of Earth:

Alan Scott – He is powered by the Star Heart, which has some magical elements to it. His constructs are weak against wood, so he could be stopped by that. He does not need to recharge the same as the other Lanterns, but his limitations are known by Batman.

Hal Jordan – He is one of the best at using the Ring. He was one of the first to overcome the limitations on Yellow objects. He knows a lot of the inner functions of the Ring, so he would know how to make radiation from it.
John Stewart – He is an architect, and has had so many personal losses (wife, and for a time his legs) that he would give anything his all. He was chosen as a replacement for Hal because he knows how to get the job done.

Guy Gardner – Was punched out by Batman once, but now is the Number One Butt Kicker for the Lantern Corps. He would be a threat because of his high will power, and advanced knowledge of ring operations. Plus, he does not get along with either Superman or Batman all that well.

Kyle Rayner – ION – Is the next evolution of a Lantern, powered by the Corps and the Starfire, his not limited. Was the first to have a ring without the Yellow impurities, and was also able to be the torch bearer for the Guardians until the Corps was rebuilt. He has survived so many horrible fates, and would be very hard to put down. The first time he was ION, he was the most powerful being in the Universe.

So, basically, the fight can go any ways, and it depends on who needs to win, and how far they will go. Batman could have a chance, but most of the time a Lantern would have the highest chance of winning (plus there are the most of them).

The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

In "The Dark Knight Strikes Again," Bruce Wayne realizes that he can distract Lex Luthor, but not save the world alone, so he goes and contacts Hal Jordan to do that. Hal envelopes the entire planet in his power.

The entire Earth.

Batman can't do that.

Superman can push it alittle and spin it, that's it.

The Green Lantern all the way.

"Batman allows himself to be captured and tortured by Luthor, who plans to use satellites to destroy Metropolis but is thwarted by the now god-like Green Lantern;"

Batman. He has the most resources, by far the most intelligent. He has the master list on all DC hero's. He knows every single one of their weaknesses and secret identities. Plus he is just the coolest!
