Every culture and food has healthy ways to eat- the problem is that fats, salts and sugars taste good so people eat sweet and sour chicken rather than vegetables, or they load a taco with meat and sour cream. Avoid the fats in any restaurant. For fast food as in a ‘joint’ I would go with a vegetable pizza- the less cheese the better - or something involving fresh salad and minimal frying - like a falafel or sandwich. For heart healthy 'fast' food try some oatmeal with cut fruit or some dark bread with tomato and lettuce sandwiches. Be aware that many healthy seeming salads or sandwiches often have a great deal of salt, which is terrible for your heart. Granola is also a good way to go and fresh fruits and vegetables. There is nothing wrong with a banana or some celery sticks with a light amount of peanut butter. If you think of fruits and vegetables as nasty its just because you haven’t tried them prepared in a style you like. Be adventurous you’ll find its good for your wallet too- since most fast food is disgustingly over priced. Word to the wise – cut out the soda. Try water or green tea. Also less cooking normally = heart healthy.

Pretty much all the chains are beginning to offer salads as a selection. Most of the ones without meat, or with GRILLED chicken are actually pretty healthy. Some places are also providing the option of a fruit cup or side salad instead of french fries. This is a healthier alternative. Wraps are better than burgers, but most of the ones at most of the fast food places are still debatable as to how healthy they are, but they are a step in the right direction. In any case, it is true that burgers, fried chicken and french fries are not your only options anymore. Get the salads and wraps, and avoid the sodas. Then you're in good shape. Pretty much any fast food chain should have these options in most places now.

Subway. No contest.
The SUBWAY® chain's 7 sandwiches with 6 grams of fat or less have a calorie range of 230-370 and have as little as 3 grams of fat. Choosing one of these subs can save hundreds of calories and at least 21 grams of fat in just one meal.
RESTAURANT CALORIES FAT (Grams)
SUBWAY® Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki 370 5
SUBWAY® 6-inch Turkey Breast 280 4.5
Burger King Whopper 670 39
KFC original recipe chicken (1 chicken breast, 1 wing) 530 28
Taco Bell 3 tacos 510 30
McDonald's Big Mac 560 30

I like Wendy's, they have the baked potato (just take it easy on the extra sour cream if you chose to have it), the low-fat chili, lots of salads, they now have the deli sandwiches, and if you chose to get a regular meal you can pick the baked potato or Mandarin cup over the fries. But I do agree if subway counts I would say Subway but it's not drive up so not sure if it technically does, but most the time reasonably quick. :)
