I have been to both.Disneyland is basically the same as Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom. Disneyworld has more parks such as Epcot, Animal Kingdom and the water parks. I prefer Disneyworld for longer vacations and since its only two hours away from where I live, I like Disneyland for just a day or two.

I've only been to Disneyland (Anaheim, California)...I grew up going a couple times a year since I've always lived near it, I had an annual pass for a few years, and I also worked there for 4 years. =P
Personally, Disneyland will ALWAYS have a spot in my heart, but I can't really say which Disney park I like best since I haven't been to WDW yet. We're planning on going when my daughter is a little older, like when she's about 8 (so 7 more years to go!). And I'd also love to visit the other Disney parks someday as well. But we go to Disneyland regularly and we enjoy it. =)
I'm sure they both have their good points! For Disneyland, I like the fact that it's the original park, and has some attractions and sights that the other parks don't (they ALL have something that the others don't though). Downtown Disney and California Adventure are right there also. And Knott's Berry Farm (another amusement park) is only 10 minutes away. There's also lots else to do within an hour driving distance from Disneyland. Like Hollywood, Universal Studios, L.A., L.A. Zoo, beaches, etc. And not much further than all that is Legoland, San Diego, Big Bear/the mountains, etc.
But I digress...Disneyland is a lot of fun. =)

I've been to Disneyworld 3 times. One visit included Epcot center. I've never been to Disneyland. But someday I plan on it. I would think that it would be better to go to Disneyland. Because Disneyworld is in the middle of nowhere. The only other thing to do is to drive to the beaches. In Cali there would be a lot of other things to do. That is my opinion cus I'm all beached out.

Been to both, Disneyworld is a lot better!! Disneyland you can see in one day, Disneyworld you need 3 to 4 days to see it all !!!!

not really much a difference.only that disneyworld is much bigger and theres much more chaos over there . i like disneyland.
