Some people use ethics and etiquette but they are the older folks for the most part. Seems as though after the 1960's people fell away from them. Everything starts with one person, the main person asking the question. If your question is why don't YOU follow the basic ethics, then determine which ones you want to follow and begin doing them. It's always nice to pass down customs, traditions, etiquete and ethics.

In a Free Enterprise you work as a family. You are being pulled up by your team mates, where as in Corporate you are being pulled down by your colleagues.
In a Free Enterprise you get to learn about life changing business education where as in Corporate world you learn how to manage other's wealth. That's why it's always a profit on somebody's loss in the Corporate world.
In the corporate world there is only one position at the top. So only one person can reach to the top. If the peron on top gets away only then others can reach the top, provided they win. It's a pyramid. Where as in a Free Enterprise anyone can reach the top. And there are many spaces for people to stand in the top. It's a reverse pyramid.

Because is easier or because they don´t have any. Maybe some parents didn´t know them and childrens didn´t get them. When you think in family you think in values and ethics, when you love your family you want to give something that lasts after you´re gone. It will be in your system. In corporate life and in family that means respect, means it´s the way it should be always. Some of us try hard not to have more choices. Sorry for the rest.

because other cultures influence us/change us along with our diverse society and the people living within it's cultures
unless you live in a country where culture is like the same (i.e. china, pakistan, france), its hard to go to a country like the america or canada with different backgrounds and retain yours to be the same forever. too many different cultures around you molding it to something new
