Hi guys, I'm an international student and a huge soccer fan in the US and my dream is to go to Europe and watch football (soccer) matches in England, Italy, and Spain (I would like French matches too but I don't like stadiums without seats, I could get killed.)

Well I'm planning on going for a week, sleeping in very very cheap hotels or motels if there are such places. Do you know how much that would cost? Also, how hard is it to get in the matches?

Thank you so much for helping!

Also bigger stadiums in France (e.g. of teams playing in an european championship like UEFA or Championsleague) have seats! The have to have according to UEFA-regulations.

Most italian teams are playing in very old stadiums: they are currently facing a security problem after a police officer had been killed by a hooligan not long ago. (Some) English teams are regarded of having the most violent hooligans in europe.

So check out the homepages of your favourite teams and try to buy a ticket online - the sooner the better since a lot might already be sold out by now. Prices depend on where you want to sit and also on the match you want to see; they probably range from 15,- EUR to more than 100,- EUR.

U prolly wud need to get the football schedules,u can check it online.. then next move is to try to purchase the tickets online.Perhaps a few weeks/months ahead coz the certain match u wanna watch cud be a popular one & it cud be sold out. Then the rest is upto u...hotel bookings,transport..etc..Best u try to look for pension houses or hostels.Shud be the cheapest around.Good Luck with ur search.

It all depends on where you want to stay... Hostels are cheapest. Then you have to factor in cost of tickets, which is not too bad again depending on what country you're in. Personally, my favorite team is Sparta Praha in the Czech republic.
