What does it mean when someone types ".."?

I've noticed the two dots on myspace a lot, but I have no clue what it means.

To clarify, I've notice the two dots being left as comments on myspace. Just two dots, and nothing else.

It's just a pause. Kind of like when someone tells a bad joke, and everyone just gives them a funny look. That funny look could be summed up with the "..."

its like those comic bubbles... those ... like i always do....

they hit random numbers of dots....
